National Junior College

Founded in 1969 as the first junior college in Singapore set up for pre-university students, National Junior College is a co-educational government school with a mission to be the ‘College of the Nation: Home of Scholars and Leaders who Serve with Honour’. Raffles Institution

The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) was established as a post-secondary institution in 1992, under the Ministry of Education. Centre of Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE)

Centre of Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) are centres for teachers' professional learning. Supported by a tripartite partnership involving Master Teachers from the Academy of Singapore Teachers (AST), faculty from the National Institute of Education (NIE) and the teachers in the hosting schools, the CTLE are hosted in two of our schools. They focus on raising the level of professionalism of teachers in the fraternity through a range of professional learning programmes specially designed to strengthen research-theory-practice nexus, to improve student outcomes, with in-situ professional learning – where learning is situated in the authentic context of the classroom in hosting schools – as the distinctive feature of our CTLE.

Nanyang Polytechnic

National Institute of Early Childhood Development

The National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) was established in 2019 by the Ministry of Education to uplift the early childhood (EC) sector by providing quality training and professional development to EC educators at every stage of their career.
